In the deep green sea
Swirling with excitement
Turbulence and uncertainty
Thrilled in the passionate pounding
Of the violent waves
Against my bruised form
The iridescent foam
Tickling and teasing
Dissolving
At my touch
Keeping me
In a never ending cycle
A nightmare
That would have
Gradually driven me
To insanity
I stumbled
Into a clear
Glassy lake
It seduced me
with its purity
I floated
On
Its soft steady
Ripples
Its warm water
Gently
Enveloping me
Into its fold
Turned me away
From the sea
And filled me
With promises
Of serenity
Swimming away
in peaceful
Eternity
